Frequently Asked Questions
Plug the included charger into the charging port on your Joyracer ride on, then connect it to a standard wall outlet. A full charge takes about 8-12 hours, and we recommend charging fully before the first ride. Once charged, you get roughly 1-2 hours of driving time per session.
Start by checking that the charger is firmly seated in both the wall outlet and the vehicle's charging port, then confirm the battery connector under the seat or hood is fully plugged in. If the battery still won't take a charge, reach out to us through Amazon messaging and we'll help sort it out or send a replacement part. We back our ride ons with a 1 year warranty on parts, and we ship replacement components like batteries, chargers, and motors when something isn't working.
Our ride ons run on a 24V rechargeable battery, either 7Ah or 9Ah depending on the model, paired with four 200W motors for up to 800W of total power. Replacement batteries and chargers are available from us directly. Contact us through Amazon messaging with your model and we'll get the right part to you under our 1 year parts warranty.
It depends on the model. Our 24V ATV, Chevrolet Cheyenne truck, and XL jeep top out at 5.9 MPH with three speed settings (3.1, 4.5, and 5.9 MPH). Our dump truck, UTV, and 2 seater trucks run 1.86 to 5 MPH across three settings. Parents can lock in a lower speed using the 2.4GHz remote.
Every Joyracer ride on ships with a 2.4GHz parent remote that has three speed settings, priority override, and instant emergency braking, so you can take over anytime while your child learns. The remote needs 2 AAA batteries, which aren't included. If you need a replacement remote, message us and we'll help you get one.
Our ride ons are built for ages 3 to 8 years. The 20 inch and 19 inch wide two seaters fit two smaller children under 4 or one older child. Max load runs from 110 to 135 lbs depending on the model, so check the listing for your specific vehicle.
